ABOUT LEN
Len Critcher is a visionary founder and operator known for identifying inflection points in markets and building category-defining businesses at the intersection of technology, brand, and community.
In 2001, Critcher founded eCarLink, one of the first internet-focused automotive dealerships in the United States, pioneering online automotive retail before it was mainstream. At age 28, he was profiled in Forbes for reshaping how vehicles were marketed and sold online and is widely regarded as an early architect of modern digital automotive retailing. His work has been featured in People, Time, USA Today, CNN, American Way, and the Dallas Business Journal.
In 2006, he founded eCarList, an automotive inventory and marketing software platform that became a market leader under his direction. As CEO and chief product architect, Critcher led the company through rapid national growth until its acquisition in 2011 by Dealertrack Technologies (later acquired by Cox Automotive), where he served as Chief Product Officer.
Beyond operating roles, Critcher has built a reputation as a disciplined early-stage investor and advisor, backing and scaling high-growth companies with multiple successful exits, including eCarList, OrderMyGear, and Fixd Repair.
In the past decade, Critcher has applied his systems-driven approach to hospitality and experiential brands. Through Corner House Hospitality, he owns and operates several iconic Dallas establishments, including Inwood Tavern (est. 1964), Chelsea Corner, and Milo Butterfingers (est. 1971). His focus is on modernizing legacy brands while preserving their cultural identity - blending operational rigor, technology, and design to create enduring community institutions.
Opening in 2027 in Dallas’ Knox District, Sunshine Flowers marks the next evolution of this vision—an intimate, design-forward hospitality concept built around membership, guest experience, and a thoughtfully curated community. It reflects Critcher’s conviction that the future of hospitality lies in intentional spaces where brand, belonging, and operational intelligence intersect.
Today, Critcher continues to invest, advise, and build companies that merge product innovation with real-world experience. His work consistently centers on one principle: enduring businesses are built where data meets design and technology enhances human connection.
Critcher attended Highland Park High School and earned a BA from Southern Methodist University. He lives in University Park, Texas, with his family.
